Lan Xichen returns the bow, then waves a hand for Lan Wangji to sit, finding a perch on an outcropping of stone for himself so he can offer his fingers for the rabbits to investigate. He doesn't often come out here to see the small creatures, but he can appreciate their gentle natures.

"Wangji, what is troubling you?" He asks, directly, because while the Lan Clan is known for being forthright, his little brother can tie linguistic knots with ease - every word he says will be truth, and if he wants it to be, entirely unhelpful.
